Moving On

Taking a step towards a future you didn’t think you would have to know.

Walking away when you thought you had found it all.

Watching time heal those parts someone else broke.

Daring your heart to hope once more.

Tell me your secrets darling, I won´t tell.

I confess that for me life could have ended by the starlight.

I didn´t mind that only the night heard what you had promised me; your lips were the only ones that knew me and that was enough.

So tell me your secrets darling.

Tell me that like a shooting star you fell and your heart landed next to mine.

Tell me this is what you dreamed of.

Until then, I don´t dare open my eyes.
